Do you have a motto or favorite quote that guides you?
- I have many but these are some of my favorite quotes from Buddha: “Teach this triple truth to all: a generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things that renew humanity.” “He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.” “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.”
When and how did you first discover you had the gift to help people?
- When I was young, my father visited relatives and friends in the hospital and nursing homes regularly. He would take me along with him. I remember singing, holding hands, talking and sitting with the people we visited. What stands out the most about this experience, is the eyes of the people we visited. There was a faraway look in their eyes. When I held their hand or stroked their forehead they looked into my eyes. There was a connection made between us beyond words. They had so much love in their eyes when they looked at me. I knew someday I would be a nurse, I wanted to help others.
- I was born in San Francisco, one of 5 children. My father was Italian and my mother Irish. I was brought up Catholic, though my mother introduced us to many different religions and cultures. I am in a 33 year marriage and met my husband on a blind date in high school. I have two beautiful daughters and two amazing grandsons. I was the birth coach and had the privilege to assist in bringing both grandsons into the world. I taught severely handicap children and adults, opened a non-profit school and then pursued a career in nursing. I worked in neonatal and pediatric intensive care for 25 years. I founded Light Resonance Healing®, energy healing and have been teaching around the world. My passion is traveling to Machu Picchu, Peru and sacred sites to learn from Andean Chiefs, Sound Healers, Shamans, Naturopaths and Coca Leaf Readers. I have been traveling to Peru since 2001. I take small groups to experience the light and wisdom held there. I co-authored the book Angel On My Shoulder and I am excited about my new book, to be released in the fall, Angels Guide Us….all we have to do is ask.
How did you get started in this business?
- It was a journey that started when I was very young. I spent a lot of time with my Italian grandmother. We understood each other and I always thought we spoke the same language. It wasn’t until I was 12 years old that I realized my grandmother did not speak English and I did not speak Italian. She definitely played a role in my spiritual life. I discovered my mediumship skills at a young age. Mediumship is connecting with those that have transitioned to the other-side. When I stayed at my grandmother’s house she would visit many (what I thought was) churches. There was always someone sleeping in a strange bed and people standing around crying. The person sleeping would stand next to the person crying. The person would then smile at me and sometimes talk to me. I couldn’t understand why everyone was upset. I would whisper to my grandmother why are they crying and she would just smile and tell me to be quiet. At the age of 20 I realized I knew the interior of every funeral home in San Francisco. It was then that I realized the sleeping people were deceased and not everyone saw them. Looking back, I am curious, whether my grandmother saw the deceased people too. When deceased people started showing up at all hours in my home and everywhere I went, I didn’t know what to do. So I started searching for answers. I studied with teachers from the Berkeley Psychic Institute for two years. It helped yet I wanted more answers and kept searching because my spiritual vision, clairvoyance was wide open and in living color. I was with a friend in a bookstore and a deck of beautiful angel cards fell at my feet. I picked them up, they were Doreen Virtue’s Angel Oracle Cards. I noted her website on the back of the cards, saw she was in my area teaching a workshop and the rest is history. I loved her workshop because it wasn’t like anything I had ever experienced. There was a sense of peace and calm that came into my life when I began calling on the angels. Working with the angels was not like any work I had previously done, it was amazing and I have continued my studies with Doreen Virtue, AngelTherapy.com.

Do you offer special services or insights that customers might find helpful?
- I see and feel energy. There is a correlation between one’s emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical body. I work with clients to help them understand the energy that surrounds their situation, involving a relationship, romance, new home, a transition coming up in their life, a career, life purpose or finance. Working with the angelic and spirit realm, I tap into the information and guidance I receive for someone and share the information. I love helping others awaken to their own intuitive gifts so that they can learn to trust the guidance they are receiving for themselves. I teach workshops and classes. Topics include: Psychic Intuitive Development, Light Resonance Healing®, Develop a Deeper Connection with the Angels, Angel Readings, How to use Angel Oracle Cards for Yourself and Others, and Mediumship.
Do you do any charity or non-profit work?
- I provide Light Resonance Healing® sessions to clients who cannot afford to pay. I donate 10% of my proceeds from classes to Children’s charities. One of my favorite organizations to donate to is kiva.org, it is all about people helping people. As a volunteer educator, I help support parents, those who have premature or ill infants in the newborn intensive care. I produced and directed a non-profit film “Tiny Hands” for public television. It is an interview with parents who had an infant in neonatal intensive care. Parents share their experience, insights, and pass on helpful advice to other parents who are going through a similar experience.
Why do you love what you do?
- My belief is that each person touches another person. My life is blessed and when I am able to share some insight with someone it is awesome. There are many incredible people that have come into my life when I needed help. I believe we learn from each other and each encounter with another person is an opportunity. Buddha stated it best when he said “He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings and all beings in his own Self…”
