Born and raised in Piedmont, Scott is a graduate of PiedmontHigh School, and earned his B.A. in Social Science from the University of California at Berkeley. He currently lives in Piedmont with his wife, Karen, and two children, Georgia and Skip. His family tree encompasses five generations in Piedmont and Oakland, where both parents and all four of his grandparents were raised.
