206online.com is an online Peugeot 206 community. The web site features since the history of Peugeot cars to troubleshooting sections and maintenance tips.
About the project
The mission
The project was founded in May 2002 as Peugeot206club.com, an online Peugeot 206 community with a mission to unite as many 206 owners and fans (from all over the world) as possible.
The vision
There are approximately 5 million Peugeot 206 cars worldwide. We want 206online.com to become the largest online source of data and images related to this car, offering visitors intractive features and support. Being the only international Peugeot 206 fan site, 206online.com is unique and will remain loyal to Peugeot 206 even when the new model replaces the 206.
The site
The original site had over 400 members worldwide. Unfortunately, by launching the generation 2 site in June 2004 we lost all the entries due to the fact the original site had no online database and was completely static. However, in the next few months from the launch of the generation 2 site we already had more members than ever. The generation 2 meant a huge leap forward, bringing many new features for site visitors such as online merchandise and sticker stores, new content and galleries! The web site currently boasts with around 22.000 unique visitors, 50.000 visits per month and nearly 2000 members who present their 206es on the site.
