25th~LID incorporated in Feb of 1998 as an evolution of several teams (25th RRG, OCF, 96th).
Our mission is to provide the best gaming experience you can have on the Internet. Our first complete month during which the web site was fully operational was the month of Feb in 1998.
In May of 2001 the Delta Force 1 & Land Warrior members of the original ~LID chose to no longer play Delta Force 2. Evolving into *LID we chose to move forward and further sharpen our focus in Land Warrior and Delta Force 1. Delta Force 1 was later dropped.
We have since moved through Land Warrior, Delta Force: Task Force Dagger, and on to our present focus, playing Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and Delta Force: Black Hawk Down Team Sabre.
In June of 2004, after a brief hiatus, members of *LID merged with members of -OM-, to reform the squad we now call ¤LID. This infusion of new talent and energy brought unlimited potential to taking this team back to prominence in the Delta Force community.
Joint Operations and Delta Force Xtreme, the new evolutions of DF gaming, have since been released. The members of ¤LID has chosen not to make the move to these latest Novalogic releases, and instead will continue our focus on Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and Team Sabre.
In 2009 we opened a Call of Duty Server.
What Does ¤LID Offer? In addition to our professional presence, and attitude, we will provide much in the form of a community atmosphere, forums, gaming news, live chat, and we will provide our members with other ways to communicate with fellow players. Our players will receive extra benefits and cool features (always in the works).
What we pride ourselves on the most is a family atmosphere, consistency, a good gaming attitude, fairness to all, working together as a team, and cheat-free environment. REMEMBER IT'S JUST A GAME so keep your cool when playing!
The Future of ¤LID.
We plan to continue the development of our squad and perhaps expand into other types of games later. We are recruiting some very experienced players who share the same ideals and expectations as we do. No matter what, we continue to remember the fact that it is just a game with the sole purpose of having fun and enjoying a family atmosphere.
