- Area groups of the 2mm Scale Association meet informally to exchange ideas, give demonstrations or build group projects. The Oxford Area Group was formed over ten years ago and holds meetings for the Association members based in Oxfordshire and the surrounding South Midlands area. Though relatively inactive in recent years, mainly because of the lack of any suitable venue at which to meet, the group has now arranged with the Abingdon and District Model Railway Club to meet at the ADMRC clubroom. The meetings take place between about 7.15pm and 10pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month during April - September inc. and on the 1st Wednesday of each month during October - March inc.
