- 435 Squadron is based in the North Staffordshire town of Newcastle-under-Lyme. It is one of five squadrons within the local area and forms part of Staffordshire Wing, one of the largest wings in the Air Training Corps (ATC). We have been a part of the local community for over 60 years, having been formed in 1941 soon after the creation of the ATC.
