- I purchased this '72 Chevelle Super Sport just after I graduated from High School in 1982. My first Chevelle, unknown to me, turned out to be a Heavy Chevy which I assumed was a Malibu equipped with a domed SS hood. Shortly after seeing the car, my father demanded that I get rid of it at the junkyard. I guess he didn't like the rotted frame rail where the manual steering box bolted on!
