- On 1st October 2004 Maitland Chambers (the Chambers of Michael Lyndon-Stanford QC and Charles Aldous QC) merged with 9 Old Square (the Chambers of Michael Driscoll QC) creating a set with 65 barristers, including 15 Silks. Maitland is by far the largest Chancery set and matches the strength and depth traditionally offered by the largest commercial sets of chambers.
