The American Amateur Karate Federation (AAKF) is a nationwide public benefit, tax exempt corporation established under the U.S. Act of 1979 public law regarding sports governing bodies. Master Hidetaka Nishiyamawas its first President.The main purpose of the AAKF is to benefit the physical and mental health of the people of the United States through the development of Traditional Karate.For this purpose, it continually develops the technical skill level of coaches, officials, and judges.
