History Academy of Accelerated Learning (AAL) was established in 1998 to provide academic enrichment activities for low income, high risk youth. AAL is a minority owned private organization which receives its funds primarily from State and Federal agencies. Funds are generally obtained through a competitive process and continued funding is dependent upon meeting and exceeding specific contractual requirements with respect to performance goals.
