The Academy of Audio Visual Arts and Sciences (AA-VAS) is an organization dedicated to the field of media development in Nepal. In the year 1998, when AA-VAS was envisioned, the world was moving towards the 21st century overwhelming with broadcasting Communication and was narrowing down to a small village every moment. Nepal was caught in the throes of this fast development unaware and unprepared. But it could not remain aloof from the rest of the world for long.
