- We are founded by David Lancaster that has been in the bicycle industry since the mid 1970’s. David started racing with the Gate Way East Freewheeler out of the Belleview IL. He worked in the teams coach’s bike shop to help pay his way to the races. Moving to FL David continued to ride on his own until sometime in the mid 1990. David heard that a rail road might be taken up and turned into a bike pedestrian trail. David then invited some friends to ride the proposed Cross Seminole Trail to help fight for the use of the trail. Shortly after that ride David then joined the Florida Freewheelers, took a job as the manager of A.J. Barnes Bicycle Emporium in Winter Springs FL., joining a task force for the Cross Seminole Trail. David received many awards from the Franchise of A.J. Barnes. One is that he had no repairs that came back to the shop for over 2 years. David then went on to develop other ideas in the bicycle industry forming a company called Bike Blimps and in partner ship with a bicycle taxi company in
