The Australian Government Employees Superannuation Trust ("AGEST") was established in July 1990 as the industry superannuation fund for the Australian Public Sector. The fund is now known as AGEST Super to ensure that it is more readily recognised as a superannuation fund. Whilst it is still focussed on the public sector, it now has other sources of membership. This includes an award-winning, low cost allocated pension product.
