- My story began in 1990 when working as a waitress, I made a little yellow ribbon pin for a special customer whose son was serving in the gulf war. When her husband saw the pin, he immediately wanted one. The next thing I knew, people were calling from everywhere asking for a yellow ribbon stained glass pin. Little did I know this gesture of friendship would become the foundation for the business that it is today. I have now been joined by my husband; Bill, our 4 grown daughters; Dawn, Dena, Sandra and Sarah; and our son; the computer wiz of the family; Matthew.
