I started making fruit cakes years ago. I would give them as gifts to friends and then I had a lot of people start asking if they could buy one. That is basically how I got started. The recipe was from my great grandma and passed down through generations. It is an all natural recipe full of pecans, walnuts, cherries, and dates. There are no candied fruits which is what most people hate about fruit cake. It is also not dipped in any liquors or brandies.
