This site was based on a theory that may be a contributing factor as to the cause of ALS. Hundreds of patients and families have responded who feel that they would prefer an A.C.A.M. approach to the disease; namely, specific tests profiling each patient's symptoms and test results. That has been accomplished. We have determined that ALS is malabsorption and the inability to eliminate waste caused by liver disease.
