Storage and Moving Nightmare
I am unsatisfied with my move using Taylor Moving and Storage Inc of Burlington, Ontario, Canada. I contracted to have my possessions stored at their Burlington facility in December, 2005. Without informing me, my things were moved to Taylor’s Mississauga location. It is evident that they were moved there without being properly packed onto the truck as most of my furniture has rubs, scrapes, scratches, and abrasions. Furthermore, a forklift truck operator dropped a pallet which contained one third of my possessions from a great height. This resulted in many things being broken, some beyond repair. I was not informed of this occurrence at the time. In January, 2006, without my authorization, some of my things were repaired in the Taylor warehouse. I took delivery of my household goods in July of 2006. Even though the damages had occurred 6 months earlier, nobody in the company notified me in advance of delivery that most of my items were damaged, some quite severely. It was lef
