[www.AAAJIM.Com] is a website for gamers run by gamers. We are not a clan, we do not scrimmage nor take part in any leagues or ladders. We simply play for the fun and experience. It is a Friday night poker game that happens every night. It is one of the oldest BF42 servers on the net. We do not tolerate hackers cheaters and TKers. AAAJIM.COM come for the games stay for the fun.

DontHurtMe started AAAJIM gaming servers out his house in Jan. 2003 when he tired of Tkers, idiots and clan servers playing favorites to its own players. It ran on P3 1 gig machine with 512 mb of ram connected to a cable internet connection which ran at 1 mb up and 256 down. It was only able to carry 8 players but within a couple months he moved it to a main backbone in Atlanta GA that hosted 20 slots. It now 30 slots to go with the 20 slot BF42 Secret Weapons and Road to Rome server. They have expanded and host a CoD CoD:UO server with website, stats forums and Teamspeak. The servers have always been co-op where there are bots to play against instead of waiting for live people to join.

Teamspeak has always been part of [AAAJIM.COM]. It allows players to make battle plans but more often then not it turns into a forum for friends that help each with game tactics, leisure talk and computer help.

The sole purpose of placing it in Atlanta was so that DontHurtMe's Uncle (Lethal) who lives in the south could play on his dial up conection. Lethal was instrumental in the server configuration in such as no friendly fire and the maximum allowable distance on name tags and co-op mode. Many of Lethal's ideas still stand today as the server chucks into its fourth year. As broadband became more available to those in urban areas, Lethal was stuck on dial up and stopped playing. Though DontHurtMe saw Lethal stay with up the best who were broadband.

The first main stay player was Gunny from Texas. A friend of Lethals, Gunny joined in Jan 2003 and DontHurtMe took an instant liking to Gunny. With his southwestern drawl and down home humor, Gunny and DontHurtMe became fast and good friends. Gunny was given admin rights to the server in 2003 because of sense of fairplay and no tolerance for cheaters and idiots. Games are not complete without the wit and insight from this good ole boy who longs for retirement just to play more games.

Rat came in around Sept 2003 and only added to humor with his political views and disdane for California residents. All of which was done in good taste and honest humor. A small business owner in the plains, Rat really brought out the competitive nature of Gunny. They would like enter other servers and team up to lead all other players in stats. They also like to play against each other on the AAAJIM server to see who can get the best of the other. Rat has since been an occasional visitor as the demands of business began to grow.

General Hospital came in a few months later and stayed for a year. A respected member and good track maker when they played Track Mania for a time, the purchase of a house and renovating were time consuming though he does stop in from time to time.

With heavy internet congestion and rising costs, Larry the server guy moved both BF42 servers to Chicago in the spring of 2006. This proved an excellent decision on Larry's part as the ping and latency dropped by half for all players around the world. Larry has been the server provider for both BF42 servers since DontHurtMe moved them to a public server in March 2003. Larry is so dedicated to his clients that once in the fall of 2005, while a hurricane raged over the island paradise where Larry his family were staying for vacation, Larry hunkered down in his hotel room and completely reinstalled the BF42 server after DontHurtMe killed the server playing with the config files. You can visit Larry at [www.sfxdata.com].

In August 2006 DontHurtMe and Gunny expanded the website and servers to include CoD and CoD:UO. The CoD server runs the AWE mod which enhances the game play with dive bombers, cookable gernades, tripwires, unlimited ammo, sprint and much more. The server's plays custom maps and different modes to provide players with the best gaming action.

The CoD:UO server run's the same AWE Mod with a modern weapon twist. This adds a completely different element to the game.

The summer of 2006 saw rapid decline in the websites and servers that hostd BF42. With that came more idiot players that wanted nothing more then to screw up the game for the rest of the players. They were quickly dispatched thru kicks and bans. This earned AAAJIM a name in some forums as a bad place to play but when the same players who were constantly banned from other servers became known, the undeserved reputation was quickly lost.

The influx also brought in more players that have since joined the AAAJIM family. Cowboy was the first and became an instant hit with his country style humor and laid back attitude. Cowboy quickly became the goodwill ambassador for AAAJIM. With him in the BF42 server chatting it up with other players, the players began flowing in.

Goose was the next one that joined and was accepted as he is a relative of Cowboys. Cronyism at its best. No really Goose brings a youthful mischief to the games.

Deathshead followed in quickly behind Goose and provide's some much needed computer tech help to DontHurtMe. Especially when Gunny decides to play pc tech and kills his computer. One Gunnyism is "I know just enough about computers to kill them".

Tinman came along followed by Errorprone who calls the shoutcast then Target who seems to live up to his name more often then not. Insanepap has joined the mix with several players from around the world.

AAAJIM continues to grow and with a base of great players that looks to expand it's membership while keeping it the best free gaming servers on the net.
