- Amalgamated Anthracite Holdings Ltd. was formed in Swansea in 1923, with interests in diversified markets including building materials, transport; warehousing and environmental services. Moving into the Healthcare sector in 1976 AAH acquired Hills Pharmaceuticals at which time it gradually sold off interests in fuel and building materials and expanded our pharmaceutical interest by taking over a large number of related businesses. We became AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd in 1985 and purchased Vestric to give us a nationwide branch network.
