- The Association was organized by a few Aluminum Contractors in 1975 out of necessity due to a lack of aluminum building codes or guidelines for building department inspectors to properly evaluate aluminum construction projects.
- The Not For Profit Association is the Professional Trade Group for Contractors, Fabricators, and suppliers of products and services to them. It has chapters throughout and continues to grow.
- The Aluminum Association of Florida and its Members are dedicated to the promotion of High Standards of Ethics, Competence, Workmanship Practices & Policies Integrity, Honesty and Quality in its dealings with the Public and Government Agencies.
