- Abbey Properties were formed in 1983 by David Pimm and Christopher Dodds with our first office in Abbey Street, Eynsham. Mervyn Harris joined the company on a full-time basis in 1989 and the Bampton Office was opened by David Pimm in 1994. This was a difficult period of the market and many questioned our wisdom of taking on the responsibility of an extra office at such a time. The office and company continued to thrive however and this resulted in Mervyn leaving the Bampton office to open the delightful Witney office in 1998.
