- 1986: After being involved with three home building projects as a teenager, and after four adult years as the Facilities Manager at the Norman Rockwell Museum at Stockbridge, Jerry Kelly starts out as a lone licensed carpenter with occasional help bent on building decks, remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and the like. Ann is raising small children.
- 1987 through 1990: Continuing in the same fashion, we build our way up to a small crew, working out of our home and garage.
- 1990 through 1993: Expansion is slowly underway, based on satisfied customers in past years.
