Last year, ABC began a spinoff show of its smash hit Grey's Anatomy. Private Practice debuted in the fall of 2007 to much critical acclaim. During the previous season of Grey's Anatomy, writers felt out the market for a show which featured Dr. Addison Montgomery, and were astounded by the following it received. Thus, Private Practice was born. On the show, Dr. Addison Montgomery moves from Seattle and her job at Seattle Grace Hospital to be welcomed into Oceanside Wellness in Los Angelos.
