- Nothing predestined Alexandre Borrelly, born in 1902, to found a company specialized in the design and production of flexible washers. He was born to a family from France's Languedoc region, and lost his father during his adolescence. He went on to become an engineer. His tenacity and temerity were to be the first cornerstones of our company, which was founded in 1933.
