As a member of the development department, the Systems Administrator will report to the CTO and will work closely with the Software Developers and Community Development groups. Tout le monde peut modifier et éditer le wiki AboutUs. C'est la façon dont AbousUs peut drainer dans la connaisance de tous ceux qui choisissent de contribuer. Cela rend néanmoins AboutUs vulnérable aux attaques des spammeurs. Afin de protéger l'intégrité de la ressource et de s'engager avec les éditeurs, AboutUs patrouille chaque édition produite sur ses plus de 4 millions de pages. A fin janvier 2007, les éditions par jour ont franchi la barre des 1000. Début avril 2007, elles dépassaient 3000 éditions par jour. AboutUs s'est engagé à patrouiller chacune de ces modifications et à accueillir personnellement chaque nouvel éditeur qui s'enregistre. Les éditions anonymes sont les bienvenus mais AboutUs encourage la construction de communauté. La première étape dans cette construction de communauté est d'accueillir chaque nouveau visiteur.

• Les images vignettes sur les enregistrements sont fournies par le service propriétaire de vignettes de Name Intelligence et fournit un lien vers la référence du site.
• La technologie Casse ChaMot a été aussi produite par Name Intelligence et est utilisée sur AboutUs pour aider à ce que les noms de domaines produits soient lisibles. Si vous remarquez une anomalie dans la mise en Casse ChatMot, vous pouvez la corriger.
• La carte sur la droite provient du service de Google Maps. Les modifications de l'endroit où la carte pointe sont produites automatiquement quand address est modifié dans l'enregistrement.
• Du fait que nous sommes un wiki, notre mascotte était la "ListeningPerson". Notre nouveau logo arbore désormais une feuille en train de croître pour utiliser la métaphore du jardinage.
