AboutUs.org is a wiki start-up with momentum (See the bizjournal article and our Alexa rank) looking for good people to add to our teams in Portland, Oregon USA and Lahore, Pakistan.

Rich Internet Application Developer

You will develop application functionality interactively delivered through modern web browsers and sometimes supported through downloaded applications.

Standards based Collaboration Framework Developer

You will develop communication and collaboration infrastructure based on established and emerging internet standards.

You will design, deploy and manage scalable server resources in support of a high growth rate web service infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

User-Interface Guru

AboutUs is looking for someone to help us develop and refine the AboutUs user experience. Working with our graphic designer, this person should be an expert on web technology platforms, user-centered design principles, information architecture, and internet applications and standards.

Wiki Editor

AboutUs is looking for talented writers (and community builders) for our office in Lahore, Pakistan.

Work will include the following:

  • Researching and writing articles that describe general topics, websites, or that answer specific questions
  • Helping members of the community build content on the wiki
  • Promoting collaborative culture and wiki values by actively interacting with other community members
  • Creating Deluxe AboutUs Articles about websites
