He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from LSU in 2000 and worked for Ericsson for a year and a half where he was the lead designer of Ericsson's third generation VoIP terminal solution. They decided to shut down all research and development in the US and he even hung on through that though, moving to Montreal where he worked with them for another six months.
