- For the uninsured, gaining access to quality healthcare can be challenging. Even though public hospitals, health departments and community health centers exist to help the uninsured, providers of these networks experience difficulty coordinating services amongst one another which result in duplication of efforts and less direct patient care. The ACAC links clients and these collective services to tear down the barriers that have historically hindered people receiving care.
