- Michael Stipanich most recently was a literary agent with Writers & Artists Agency where he specialized in finding new writers and directors. Among the scripts by new writers he represented were KEEPING THE FAITH, by Stuart Blumberg, and WRESTLING ERNEST HEMINGWAY, by Steve Conrad. He also represented Alison Lurie's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, FOREIGN AFFAIRS, which he had first read as a manuscript while a reader for Keith Barish. Among his other clients were Latino filmmaker LUIS VALDEZ (LA BAMBA) and Russian filmmaker PAVEL CHUKHRAI (Oscar nominated for Best Foreign Film for THE THIEF in 1998).
