- Acceleration Television & Video is a company run by David Winstanley and Terri Metcalfe, both of whom are responsible for the production of all ATV’s television programmes, and DVD’s. Over the years the company has been involved in the production of more than 120 programmes that have been seen on Men & Motors, The Travel Channel and Motors TV. At first, in 1997, 98 there were 44 episodes of The Rally Show for Men & Motors, but more recent productions have included 6 x 1hour programmes on the London to Sydney Marathon and 3 series of Out of Control, the most popular motor sport show ever seen on satellite television with viewing figures topping 1,500,000 for series one. In addition to that, coverage of the 2004 MG Trophy shown as 2 x 1 hours series on both Men & Motors and Motors TV showed that the company could easily handle both circuit racing as well as rallying.
