- Accurate Optical, currently ranked 41st among the largest eye centers in the United States, has been providing service to residents on the Eastern Shore since 1956.
- The first Accurate Optical office, located in downtown Salisbury, occupied a 300 square foot space and employed three people: business founder Dr. Leonard Jaffe and two helpers. Eventually, Accurate Optical expanded to encompass the entire building as well as several adjacent ones, and in 1968, the company made a move to a building on the southern fringe of town.
