Ace Aquatec is dedicated to the Aquaculture industry. It was formed in December 1999 when its founder, John Ace-Hopkins, bought the Aquaculture interests from Thomson-Marconi. The company was originally based in Dorset but, due to the success of the Silent Scrammer, moved to larger premises in Scotland in October 2001. To date the company have manufactured over 200 Trigger Devices and have systems in six countries making it one of the world leaders in seal scaring technology.
