Addison County Transit Resources (ACTR) was incorporated in November 1992 with assistance from the Addison County Regional Planning Commission, and began providing transit services in January 1993. In our first full year of service, ACTR arranged almost 4,000 rides for county residents through a volunteer driver system. Since then, ACTR has grown tremendously. We now own thirteen lift-equipped/wheelchair-accessible vehicles and provide over 109,000 rides each year through several major programs.
