edit Description
Excerpted from the website:
- The Akron, Canton and Youngstown Railroad Historical Society is pleased to announce completion of our 8th decal project covering the AC&Y's mixed train lettering schemes.
- Accurate custom decals from Rail Graphics are now available in O-Scale, S-Scale, HO-Scale and N-Scale covering the handsome white and gold leaf lettering applied to AC&Y mixed train passenger coach, baggage-mail and combination RPO cars from the 1920's thru 1950's.
- When the AC&Y took control of the Northern Ohio Railway in 1920, it assumed daily mixed train service between Akron and Delphos, Ohio. Mixed trains 90 and 95 also handled the AC&Y's premium freight manifests.
