In an extremely well-timed move, Mark sold the site in late 1999. On eBay. (I was looking for a Pez dispenser but bought Adbility instead.)
Somewhere along the line, I created a massive affiliate program database infrastructure. I met somebody on eLance who would turn out to be an utterly incredible co-adventurer: Kathy's title* is "Most Venerable Guardian and Caretaker of Data". Or something.
