Excerpted from the website:
- Ad Lib Theatre Company was created on the Isle of Wight in 1996 from a group of friends with the same passion for the theatre.
- We ran a series of workshops on our first production, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and finally performed it in the open air at the partially renovated country mansion Appuldurcombe House in 1997.
- Since then we have produced an annual outdoor event at this venue as well as indoor productions at many of the theatres around the Isle of Wight.
