Rebecca has been a technician and player for more than 40 years. She has a Degree in Music as well as being a State Certified Musical Instrument Repair Technician and is a member of NAPBIRT. Her specialty is Vintage and International instrument restoration and is responsible for the preparation of instruments for the Making of Music Museum. Of Navajo/Mexican decent, born in Los Angeles, Rebecca shares her culture through music by playing bass, guitar, ukulele and vocals professionally. She started her career at 7 years old by learning classical guitar and restringing guitars in a very musical family. She is an advocate for music in the schools, including service to parent organizations, and committees during efforts to re-build canceled programs, fund raising of collectively $100,000 for music programs. She is currently working to implement the Sesame Street Music Program in 100 pre-schools. She collects vintage and international instruments.
