The Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society is a professional body established to advance clinical and scientific knowledge of diabetes in pregnancy, to encourage dissemination of this knowledge and to foster collaboration with other regional societies interested in diabetes in pregnancy. The ADIPS Annual Scientific meeting is on Friday- Saturday 25 - 26th August 2006 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Our international guest speaker this year is Professor Andrew Hattersley, Professor of Molecular Medicine, University of Exeter, whose presentations will deal with the role of genetics in clinical medicine.
