Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Founded in 1986 as an outlet for handcrafted products by Adirondack regional artisans, the Adirondack Craft Center now features unique gift and craftware from over 300 local, regional, and national producers.
- Our gallery is located in the front building of the Center for the Arts complex on Saranac Avenue in Lake Placid. We have over 4000 square feet of space to showcase our eclectic collection of pottery, woodworking, furniture, lamps, decoys, baskets, photography, glassware, jewelry, metalwork, rugs, quilts, home decorations, and wearable art.
- Parking is never a problem, and tour bus groups are welcome (appointments are appreciated) We are in close proximity to hiking and cross-country skiing trails that access the lake Placid lakeshore.
