But seriously - tossing aside the metasyntactical wordplay for a sec; what's this site about? Here are some goals we hope to reach:
Readership: we're aiming for people who build and maintain information systems. More importantly, we're aiming for those who believe their users deserve great information systems: easy to use, dependable, reliable, and economic systems that do what's needed when it's needed, without creating unnecessary roadblocks.
Attitude: technology agnosticism, craftsmanship, knowledge in depth rather than just enough to get by, and low fanboy content. Don't wanna be another love/hate site, don't wanna be another 'new tech of the day' site, don't wanna be another cackling vulnerability site, don't wanna be a another 'I am a cool admin who thinks users are stoopid' site, and most especially don't wanna be another site full of press releases! The site is geared toward providing practical knowledge to actual practitioners. Of course I've been contributing MS articles 'cause it's what I know. We need contributors from other disciplines! (hint hint hint)
