- Adventureworks is part of Jagged Globe Ltd. Established in 1987, Jagged Globe is recognised as a world-leader in the provision of expeditions, courses and treks and was the first British company to run guided expeditions to climb Mount Everest.
- This expertise in operating high quality expeditions to the world's highest mountains, and managing risk in extreme environments, was applied to School Groups as early as 1988, with expeditions to India and Nepal. The name 'Adventureworks' was born in 2001 and since then, more and more schools have chosen Adventureworks to partner them in the organisation of their expeditions.
