Great restaurant
What takes me back again and again are the vegetarian dishes at Afasika. The vegetarian dishes include: red lentils finished with berbere, the same chili and spice combo in the tibs wat; kik alicha wat, a deliciously dusty-tasting preparation of split peas enlivened with ginger and garlic; a heap of cooked collard greens called gomen that I couldn’t get enough of; vegetarian meatballs made of ground chickpeas tossed in spicy chili sauce and called shiro wat. This restaurant is the best thing to happen to Dutch vegetarians in a very long time.
