- On 1st November 2001, the shares of AFFA Ltd were aquired by Mr Michael Ogden, the owner of the Sandrair International Group of Companies.
- The Company was formed by Glyn Oliver in 1973, establishing offices at Unit 22, Milton Park, later taking additional space at Unit 30 for Warehousing & Distribution. A Packing plant was set up in 1975 and an Import Office was established at Unit 185 Milton Park, to handle Deep Sea & European Imports at the (then) Didcot Inland Clearance Depot nearby.
- Originally set up to service the Specialised shipping requirements of the Harwell scientific community, the Company soon grew, helped by the rapid development of the high-tech & scientific Companies around Abingdon & Oxford.
