- he General Council of the Assemblies of God has encouraged biblical stewardship from the Fellowship's earliest days. Since gift annuities were first issued in the 1930s, thousands of constituents have enjoyed the benefit of utilizing their God-given resources for God-given goals. With the establishment of a retirement fund for its growing number of ministers and a Church Loan Fund in the 1940s, a Deferred Giving and Trusts Department in the 1970s, the Unified Stewardship Program in the 1980s, and the Assemblies of God Foundation in 1992, the Assemblies of God has responded to the changing and growing financial needs of its ministers, churches, and constituents.
- AG Financial was organized in 1998 to provide growth and development of the financial-related ministries of the Assemblies of God: Ministers Benefit Association, Assemblies of God Loan Fund, MasterPlan Stewardship Services, and Assemblies of God Foundation.
