- Our Mission
- The mission of the Alpharetta Historical Society is to promote an interest in and the study of history, genealogy, and related fields as it collects, assembles, preserves, and disseminates historical and genealogical information related to Alpharetta and old Milton County for the benefit of its members, their descendants, and the public.
- Originally constructed between 1934 and 1935 by students in the Future Farmers of America Milton High School Chapter, the Cabin is maintained as a teaching museum by the Alpharetta Historical Society in a cooperative effort with Milton High School, the Fulton County Board of Education, and the City of Alpharetta.
- Members of the Society provide historical programs at local schools or on site at the Log Cabin at Milton High School and at the Mansell House and Gardens.
