AirRunner Networks LLC was organized by Bill Flood, owner. The concept of Wireless Internet was not original, but when the business was started in June of 2001, there were only about 1000 wireless Internet providers in the United States. As of July 2005 there were well over 8000 wireless providers in the USA and abroad. When AirRunner Networks LLC opened it's doors to business in June of 2001, it was the only wireless Internet provider north of Lake Geneva, WI.
