The Trustees of the Defunct Air Jamaica Pension Fund have initiated distribution of an additional $50 million to beneficiaries of the fund. The sum is being allocated among approximately 2,600 former employees of Air Jamaica, who were made redundant when the government privatized the airline in June 1994 and the pension fund terminated.
