International Women’s Day Celebration - 2007 March 17, 2007 : The Ministry of Social Services and Social Welfare celebrated International Women’s Day this year, focusing on women with disabilities. The function was held on March 17, at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo. AKASA members from Nochchiyagama, Hingurakgoda and Elahera attended the function, along with students from our vocational training centre and staff members.
