Altrincham Choral Society is a large (around 100 concert singers) mixed voice choir which offers good quality amateur singers in the South Manchester/North Cheshire area the opportunity to learn and perform major choral works within a varied repertoire at well-attended public concerts supported by professional musicians and directed by an ambitious and demanding conductor.

As part of our ambition to be bigger and better, a group of members has recently completed a Marketing Plan after almost a year of research and debate, including questionnaires for members, audiences and other local choirs. Throughout this exercise, we received valuable help from Business in the Arts: North West through their Business Adviser to the project, Emma Smyth. To them, and to everyone else who contributed, we would like to record our sincere appreciation.
