James T. ("Jim") Kennedy has been practicing law since 1973, a period of 30 years with his own office in Alameda since 1981. Jim was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but has lived in California since 1952. He attended high school and college in San Jose and joined the United States Air Force after graduation, serving as an officer from 1966 to 1970. He then attended University of San Francisco law school, graduated in 1973, and moved to Alameda with his wife and daughter.
